The Bible is clear on the truth that "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). This song reminds us of that truth and other truths that we see in the Bible ~ The God made us for His glory (Genesis 1-2), but we sinned against Him (Genesis 3), that all have sinned and no one is good enough for God (Romans 3:10-12 & 23-24), and that Jesus died on the cross for our sin, taking the punishment that we deserve (Romans 6:23 & Romans 5:8) so that we can live with Him.

The Bible is God’s Word.
 It tells us that God made us~
 in His image, and ~ to worship Him. 
But we sinned and broke His law.

 fallen short of His glory and run away from Him.
 Nobody is good enough.
